.30 cents per sticky flag? Really? I was expecting something more than cheap 'post note flags' I was expecting something more than 36 cheap flags for $11 dollars. The picture makes each of the tabs appear like those semi-hard taps we all have seen in professional binders. Not these. These are lightly sticky, and bendable/crease-able. Way too much money for what these are. Even $5 dollars would be pushing it.Update: 08/08/2014I found the tabs that I was expecting these to be for around $15+ shipping. http://diagnostictabs.com/If you compare the two you will understand what you are really buying with product.
I love the transparency of these... sure any tabs will work but the convenience of having these already typed up in an easy to read font is rather nice. I think the price is a bit high, but the usefulness makes splurging worth it... I added some pics of them installed so you can better see the transparency of them... hope it helps with your purchase decision..
I bought these because I couldn't find any other tabs for the DSM-V on here. I appreciate their purpose and it does definitely make it easier to find the sections/chapters in the DSM, however, they are pretty flimsy and I don't know how long they will last. I just put them in my DSM yesterday and some of them are already curling/creasing. The ones I've seen for the DSM-IV are a bit more permanent and sturdy, which is what I was hoping for, however I knew that I was taking a risk and would rather have these than no tabs at all. :)Pros:-Removable!-Easy to use-Clearly marks each sectionCons:-Over priced-Flimsy-May or may not last through the next year.
These are terrible. Not worth $1 let alone $10+.... I expected something better than this. When the DSM-5 came out, I 'tabbed' one for one of my professors (I am the GA at our masters program) and they were well made, sturdy tabs. These tabs? Like scotch tape, with less 'stick'. Go somewhere else... this was not worth it.
Very disappointed with the page markers. I expected tabs for most major sections on such areas as ADHD, Autism, Specific Learning Disorder, etc., and there were only a few markers on the one page that was sent to me. Very overpriced for what I received. I would have been better off using Post-it Note tabs.
The product concept is great - I find it really makes the DSM-V much more usable. That said, these particular tabs are far from great. They are expensive, hard to read (being transparent, you see the tabs below. It is also lacking in contrast if you are working on a dark desktop) and thin/flimsy. The only good things I can say is that they look nice (the tabs are a transparent purple that matches the colors of the DSM) and they are easily repositionable when you are installing them. I also appreciated the four blank tabs that I could set at the diagnoses that I use the most often. I bought them because I thought they would be better than making my own using post-it flags. I'm keeping them but it is a close call.
So they're really useful but they bend and rip off and don't stick well. I've had them on for a month and they already look like they won't last. I'm probably going to have to replace them with other tabs I just write on. I won't buy again.
i ordered NEW stickers, this is what I received instead. see photo. Terrible packaging, used and dirty stickers upon arrival. Very displeased.
